The Blue Water Bridge

The two spans of the Blue Water Bridge are located at the southern tip of Lake Huron where it empties into the St. Clair River. The original span opened in 1938 and the second span opened in 1997.

The bridge connects the United States with Point Edward and Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. It is the second busiest commercial crossing between the U.S. and Canada with more than 4.5 million vehicles crossing the bridge annually.
