Start your morning off right with yoga on the beach or on the McMorran Plaza.

Once you are stretched out, hit the Farmer’s Market at the Maritime Center at Vantage Point on the southeast corner of the mouth of the Black River.

Once you’ve stocked up on snackables, take your boat out or hitch a ride on the Huron Lady II boat excursion.

If it is sunny and 75, now would be a great time to wiggle your toes in the sand at Lighthouse Beach or Lakeside Beach, both located just north of downtown.

If the weather isn’t cooperating, check out the movie selection at Sperry’s Moviehouse; it’s located right in the heart of downtown!

Today would be the perfect day to check out the Huron Lightship located in Pine Grove Park along the Thomas Edison Parkway and the St. Clair River.

If you’d rather not be a landlubber, consider renting a pontoon boat at Jay’s Marine downtown.

    The Huron Lightship was the last operating lightship on the Great Lakes, and served for over 50 years when she was retired in 1970. She is permanently moored in sand, along the banks of the St. Clair River in scenic Pine Grove Park, Port Huron, MI as a functioning museum.
